Assoc. Prof. Dr. A. Güliz Bilgin-Altınöz is a conservation architect, the director of the Graduate Program in Conservation of Cultural Heritage in METU, and the manager of METU Center for Research and Assessment of Historical Environment (TAÇDAM). She is engaged in conservation and planning of multi-layered towns; Geographic Information Systems (GIS); heritage information management in conservation of cultural heritage; urban archaeology; conservation, planning and management of historic urban sites and archaeological sites; utilization of information Technologies in different phases of conservation/restoration studies and education. She is an associate member of ICOMOS Turkey National Board.

Dr. Yasemin D. Aktaş is lecturer in UCL Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, UKCMB Deputy Director and a structural/conservation engineer, working on the climatic hazards on heritage buildings and resident well being. She has been an investigator on >£2M of grants, e.g. RCUK funded “Disaster Resilient Cities: Forecasting Local Level Climate Extremes & Physical Hazards”and “Indoor Mould Growth Benchmarking”.
