Between June 10-12, 2022, a field study was organized in one of the project sites, Bitlis. The METU team consisting of Assoc. Dr. Ayşe Güliz Bilgin Altınöz, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sibel Yıldırım Esen, Dr. Elif Sırt Çıplak and Dr. Özgün Özçakır carried out the study. The aim of the study was to finish the documentation of the studied house, to examine the historical urban texture of Bitlis, and to hold a meeting with the stakeholders about the current status and progress of the project.

The team had a meeting with the professionals from the Tatvan branch of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey. Fifteen professionals in total incuding the branch representative Architect Murat Akhan, had attented the meeting on June 10th and the PROT3Ct team had aimed to introduce the project to the professionals and to learn from their experiences.
